I don't know why, but somehow i have this feeling that i'm wasting a lot of time now, and that i'll regret later. like during future exams or things that need a lot of time etc. Therefore i would really be glad if there was this invention as such: it would be called a time bank, so, when we have too much time on our hands, we can deposit time into the bank. This deposited time can then be withdrawn when we are really stressed and busy (a very good example would be during the day where we had Hist and lit together X)) so that we really maximise the time that we have!((: before eoys, i, like the majority, have been looking forward to the free time that we would have AFTER eoys. but now after eoys i sit here in my room before my comp wasting myself away. Am i really powered by stress? It's like every normal day i undergo so much stress that i have adapted and grown accustomed to it, to such an extent that it gives me drive and motivation for each day. despite the fact that i complain and bitch about stress. It's like for example ppl said RGS is much more stressful than primary school. but somehow i didn't really get very affected by it, maybe because of having grown up in a competitive environment. Perhaps it had been really stressful for me when i was young, but since i was young i couldn't really remember. I think i would consider this a blessing, as I underwent what most people would only beginning to undergo much later in life, thus giving me a 'headstart' and making me more 'resistant' to stress coming from all sorts of work and commitment. But i can't deny that all these have made me a bit 'premature' and 'not innocent', in other words, more complicated than others. i guess there are always pros and cons to an occurence, just a matter of which one outweighs the other. in my case i think the pros outweighed the cons(:
yesterday went out with Cheryl Koh, joyce, xinle, mok and viv:D after drama night reh lol. actually didn't plan to go, but since they wanted to watch 'The Prestige' run-time 128 min( i like loong movies=)) plus it sounded interesting so i went. Drama night script is <3 haha still can't get over the hype and excitement over the four of us coming up with such a fantabulous script XDD hehe i'm being ego over hereX) but whatever! our inspiration was the painting 'Poplars by the River of Epte' by Monet. That day was leafing through some impressionistic paintings and i was thoroughly captivated by them. still can't fathom how they manage to make what-seemed-like-blots-of-paint from close to be so real, so unbelievably real from afar. it's really the wonders of the world man. right back to topic. The painting was actually the one shown to me before i started playing the piece 'Reflets dans l'eau' (reflections in the water) by Debussy. So there was sort of a sense of deja vu that made me like the painting and choose it as my inspiration=)) i'm also surprised how a simple, seemingly cliched idea can blossom into a really nice plot just with embellishment and elaboration. i remember that the thing that sparked every other thing off was huining saying reflection of good and bad sides. then everything took off! whoo. anyway. i really hope our class does well at drama night again((: we're really cut out, with excellent actors, artistic and resourceful prop makers etc.
lol after that when we went to movie i was telling all of them to hurryup like so many timesXD cos i had to reach home by 3.30pm mah. So they were like 'lao cai can2 kui4 mah' 'we wei4 ni3 xisheng zhenme duo1' XDD haha thank you! (: we took lotsa postcards from a ZO card station (postcards! whoo) and walked around b4 going into theatre. the movie was long. and confusing la. at the end my head was almost cleared then the last take confused me again :X so my head was filled with question marks. but going with frens to watch is satisfying enough.
